Selected natural feature frog shell from traceable sources to provide inspiration for photography, still life art, and for beach apartment decor.
Background:
These large marine gastropods of the Bursidae family are closely related to Tritons. The shells are found in tropical waters throughout the Indo-Pacific, and have been recorded down to depths of 180 metres.
We do not know why this species has attracted the name of Frog Shells and if anyone could enlighten us we would be most grateful!
The shells have a decorative pink/orange aperture and are suitable for interior and exterior applications and are frequently find application as stand-alone features and for photographic assignments.
Colour & Form:
